Event Summary
For the first time since its inception six years ago, the Tokyo Safety Systems Seminar (SSS) kicked off on the morning of 7 September 2018, introducing a new morning session to the half day event.
The response to the expanded programming was overwhelming; 100 guests attended the morning sessions, with an additional 10 people joining their peers in the afternoon. In all, 110 people representing 46 pharmaceutical companies participated.
To offer attendees fresh content to complement the afternoon’s safety theme, presentations during the morning sessions focused on regulatory and compliance issues. Guests were engaged during the program and asked many questions. Finally, the majority of attendees stayed for the cocktail reception to network with their peers and hosts.
