The 10th bi-annual Argus User Group (AUG) Meeting kicked off with a welcome reception for attendees on Tuesday 23 October, on the 18th floor of the Gaylord National Resort & Conference Center in National Harbor, MD. The floor to ceiling windows offered breathtaking views of Washington D.C.’s skyline as attendees networked with their peers while enjoying an unforgettable sunset.
Wednesday morning began with a welcome by Axel Hagel, followed by the keynote presentation. The day went by quickly as attendees and colleagues learned about new device guidance, data privacy, automation, and experiences with Argus 8.1.x. For the first time, an online meeting app was introduced which allowed guests to view the daily schedule, session content and speaker bios. The app also gave speakers the opportunity to incorporate live polling into their sessions. This was a huge hit at the Data Privacy session where attendees were able to answer questions and see populated answers in real time.
After a full day of sessions, the day concluded at a nearby southern restaurant. Comfort food was served amidst a cozy atmosphere with authentic gas lamps, great drinks, and lots of enthusiastic conversation.
The conference concluded Thursday with the popular “Ask the Experts” session followed by breakout sessions throughout most of the day! Our next meeting will be held in Paris La Defense, 6-8 March 2019.
